Do you drive yourself crazy?

I certainly do. There is so much I want to do this year, and I can’t stop thinking about it. My thoughts just go round and round jumping from task to task with no break in sight. That is until I wake up to the fact that I am thinking. My mind is overactive, and these are just thoughts that drive me crazy.

When I realize that I am lost in a story or list of “to do’s,” (which sometimes can take awhile), I breathe and pause. I realize that all I have to do is get through this moment, not a million other moments in the future. This is very effective in stopping the non-stop barrage of information that my mind processes in a given minute. Most of my thoughts are the same ones anyway, are pretty useless, and just ramp up my anxiety.

If your mind drives you nuts too, and you want to learn how to master it, decrease your stress and make life more enjoyable, come join my 6 week mindfulness bootcamp! You’ll have all the tools you need to start your meditation practice and gain control over your wandering mind.
